A Big Day on Court Square

Bank of Early battles it out in the popular bed race at the Block Party on Blakely Court Square.
An estimated 3,500 people made their way to Court Square Saturday to take in the Block Party activities. Ronnie Robinson and the Legends kicked things off and the afternoon ended with a big show by Sawyer Brown. In between there were activities, foods and entertainment all day.
A variety of film industry converged on Blakely Friday for screenings, seminars and meetings. There was a Black- Tie awards ceremony Saturday, at the Jokara-Micheaux Film Studio in Colquitt.
